Sanskruti Biswal
Research Outreach Officer
Sanskruti joined the University in 2025 and will support outreach activities for the ANTITHESES Platform and other projects at the Ethox Centre. She will help build relationships with external and internal stakeholders and contribute towards the delivery of the ANTITHESES Engaged Research Programme by engaging with a wide range of audiences. This will include public, academic, healthcare practitioners, the museums and heritage sector, NGOs and policy-makers, in the UK and internationally. She will be involved in monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities, including setting up of systems to record outreach activity, designing surveys, and collecting, analysing and reporting data.
Sans has an educational background in neurobiology, with an Integrated Masters from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata, and MSc in Science and Health Communication from the University of Manchester. Before joining Ethox, she worked in communications and public engagement at Edinburgh Neuroscience.
Sans is passionate about mental health research and advocacy, and aspires to work in the science policy sector in future.
